Your phone can wait. Your idea can’t.

Taking a note shouldn’t turn into checking your messages. Secondly lets you capture a thought with your phone still in your pocket, so you can stay with what you’re doing.

A red X marks the phone workflow: Find your phone. Open the app. Start a recording.
A green check marks the ring workflow: a person speaks with a black Secondly ring on their index finger near their mouth. Press the ring. Say the thought.

For everything you meant to write down.

A decision from work. A recommendation from a friend. The idea that arrives when you’re nowhere near your desk.

Illustrative scene: a person walks along a tree-lined neighborhood street, seen from a distance.

On a walk

The answer to a problem turns up halfway around the block. Say it before it slips away, and keep walking.

Illustrative scene: two friends talk across a cafe table.

After a conversation

A book recommendation. A name you’ll need again. Record a quick recap instead of trusting yourself to remember it all.

Illustrative scene: a woman wearing the Secondly ring works on a pencil sketch at her desk.

While creating

A better opening line. A different approach to the project. Record the tangent and get back to the work in front of you.

Illustrative scene: four colleagues wrap up a meeting around an office table.

After a meeting

Who agreed to what, and what you need to do next. Capture the handoff while the conversation is still fresh.

Illustrative close-up: a hand wearing the Secondly ring picks up house keys.

In everyday life

The gift they mentioned. The thing you need to bring tomorrow. Get it out of your head before the next interruption.

Illustrative close-up: the Secondly ring rests beside a notebook and pen on a desk.

When you need to think

Work through a decision out loud. Revisit your reasoning later, instead of trying to reconstruct how you got there.

From ring to app

Think out loud. Leave the organizing to Secondly.

Leave a quick reminder, talk through a problem, or recap a conversation. The app is being built to pull the main points from your recording into notes and summaries you can review later.

Inside the Secondly app

Find the answer in what you’ve already said.

We’re building the app to summarize recordings, surface follow-ups, and answer questions about what you’ve saved. Spend less time going back through audio and more time using what’s in it.

Turn a ramble into a clear summary.

Talk through a decision or leave a long note. Review the main points later, without listening to every minute again.

Remember what you said you’d do.

“Send Maya the proposal on Friday.” The planned task view brings the follow-up back with the conversation that explains it.

Find it without remembering the exact words.

“What did we decide about the launch?” Ask about your saved recordings in plain language, instead of guessing a title or replaying every file.

Give AI the context only you have.

The thinking behind a decision. The plan you talked through on your walk. We’re building Secondly to make those details useful in the AI tools you already turn to.

Frequently asked questions.

Recording, syncing, sizing, and everything that comes with your ring.

How does Secondly work?

Press the ring’s button to capture a thought, note, or conversation. Sync your recordings later to get clear summaries you can search in the app. You can also ask the AI questions about what you’ve saved.

Why a ring instead of a voice memo app?

Reaching for your phone can mean losing a thought or getting pulled into notifications. With the ring, press and speak while an idea is fresh, then carry on with what you were doing. In meetings and conversations, double-click to record so you can listen and participate instead of typing notes. You can come back to searchable notes and summaries later, without having to piece the conversation together from memory.

Is it always listening?

No. The ring only records when you activate it with the button. You choose which thoughts and conversations to capture.

How do I start and stop recording?

For a quick thought, press and hold the button while you speak, then release it to stop. For a longer conversation, double-click to start recording and double-click again to stop. You don’t need to keep holding the button.

Do I have to bring the ring close to my mouth?

No. The ring can pick up speech from up to 10 meters away, depending on the surroundings and background noise. You can also bring it closer and whisper when you want to capture a thought quietly.

Can it record a meeting, or just my own voice?

Both. Record your own thoughts and voice notes, or capture meetings, lectures, and in-person conversations. Use the longer recording mode when you want to keep listening without holding the button.

How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?

Expect 10–12 days between charges, depending on how much you record, with up to 8 hours of continuous recording on a full charge. Place the ring in its included magnetic charging case to recharge in under 90 minutes.

Can I wash my hands or shower while wearing it?

Yes. You can keep the ring on when washing your hands or showering.
