Measure that finger on that hand. Your other hand may fit differently. Use a millimetre ruler and paper, a ring that fits, or ask a jeweller to measure your finger.

These numbers apply to our chart and may differ from the size you wear in other rings. Your selection and any measurements are saved with your order.

I have a ring that fits this finger

Use a ring that fits comfortably on the same finger and hand you plan to use.
Lay it flat on a ruler. Measure straight across the centre, from one inside edge to the other. Don’t include the metal.
Repeat the measurement. Record the inside diameter in millimetres, plus the finger and hand. If you already know its size, note the sizing system too (for example, US or UK).

I have paper and a ruler

Cut a narrow strip of paper. Wrap it around the base of the intended finger, snugly without squeezing.
Mark the overlap, flatten the paper, and measure from the end to the mark in millimetres. This is the finger circumference, not the diameter.
Check that the loop can pass over your knuckle. Repeat at another time of day, with your hands at a normal temperature. Send both readings if they differ.

Use paper rather than stretchy string. Keep it flat and straight, without pulling tight. If the knuckle is much wider than the base, tell us instead of rounding to a size.

I’m buying a gift or I’m not sure

Ask the recipient to measure, use a ring they wear on the intended finger, or have a jeweller measure that finger. You can leave the measurement undecided and ask us for help.

There isn’t a confirmed “fits most people” size for this ring. Height, weight, shoe size, and a photograph aren’t a fit check. Please don’t choose a random size to finish the form.

Print at 100% / actual size, with “fit to page” off. Check the 50 mm line against a real ruler. If it is not exactly 50 mm, do not use that printout to measure.

No printer? Use a plain paper strip and ruler, or ask a jeweller. Never measure against an image on your screen.

Check your measurement before saving

Measure with hands at a normal temperature. Avoid measuring immediately after exercise or when your fingers are unusually swollen or cold.
Repeat the reading at another time of day. Send both readings if they differ; don’t average away a large difference or round up to a guessed size.
Keep the method clear: inside diameter is measured across a ring; circumference is measured around a finger. A reading such as 18 mm across a ring is not 18 mm around a finger.
Use millimetres. If your ruler only shows inches, multiply inches by 25.4; if you are unsure of the reading, ask for help.
A jeweller’s measurement can help. Include the sizing system and the finger measured so we can match it to our chart.

Save your size to your order

Sign in with the email used at checkout, open your order, and find “Ring size”. Choose a “Size number” for each ring, then select “Save my size”. You can use “Other sizing options or help” to send measurements, enter a usual ring size, or ask for help.

What happens after I save?

Look for “Saved to order” on the order page. Your size and any measurements are saved separately for each ring. That’s all you need to do. We’ll contact you if we need to clarify anything or you’ve asked for help.

You can view or update your saved answers on your order page. We don’t send a separate sizing confirmation email yet.
